I’ve been working as a massage therapist since 2010 and qualified at the London School of Sports Massage, with a BTEC Level 5 diploma. I’m now training as an osteopath, a journey that will take 5-6 years.
Over the past few years I’ve worked with football teams, massaged at sports events from international cycling events such as Trois Etapes to ski touring expeditions in the mountains and the London Marathon and and run my own mobile business in Brighton and West London. I also work with the Physical Project as a soft tissue therapist in London.
My sports massage treatments combine deep tissue massage with trigger point techniques and mobility stretching, plus I also use medical acupuncture and Kinesio taping in sports massage treatments. Recently I’ve been venturing into more holistic therapies and I see massage as a valuable addition to a general wellbeing programme. I also offer pregnancy massage, Indian head massage and deep tissue massage for relaxation or to help aches and pains.
When I’m not massaging, I’ll be behind a computer producing content for health and fitness brands. If you need a massage and a copywriter, I’m your girl.
